Meet Yadi
Yadi Shoe Repair was founded in the 1990's when a man named Yadi immigrated to Canada from Iran.
Working as an apprentice for many years, Yadi learned the skills and techniques one needs to successfully master the craft of shoe repair.
Eventually, Yadi became the owner of the shop that trained him, which was situated in the Woodbine Center Mall in Rexdale, Ontario. It was there that Yadi would meet Josephine, his future wife, who would play a major part of Yadi's success as a shoe repair shopkeeper.
Fast forward to today, and Yadi is still repairing shoes and is a master cobbler. Yadi is a textbook example of an honest, hard-working cobbler. He tells it like it is, and will be honest with you in explaining the cost of the repair and if it's worth it or not.

It’s Glory a previous customer, I dropped off my pink sandals and heels to you for repair and they have been ready for me to come pick up and I wasn’t aware that you would be closed Sundays and Monday's. Today, once again Yadi fixed me a size 95 belt that I bought instead of size 90(4,000 kilometers from here by mistake😂...)
I thought of simply cutting it at the front, but when I took it to Yadi his suggestion was incredibly professional, Yadi suggested to cut it from the back so as not to lose the originality and the result was simply PERFECT!
... for many years I have taken several products to Yadi’s and I have always left quite satisfied. My wallet still in excellent condition after was repaired when one corner began to break, also some sneakers that I bought, it turns out that after a few months the vinyl (or original material) behind the heel began to crack... I took them to Yadi and his suggestion was a piece of leather in the same yellow color, and I can say that for years I continue to enjoy them, the job left them better than original 👍😎👍.
